Young Guiseley goalkeeper Declan Lambton has joined Brighouse Town on a month’s youth loan.

Lambton is eligible to play in Brighouse’s trip to struggling Widnes in the FA Trophy first qualifying round tomorrow.

The young stopper has been on Guiseley’s books for a number of years but he has considerable NCEL experience from a few years with Campion.

Brighouse could be without centre-back Matty Nebard, who suffered a thigh injury at home to Bridlington a week last Monday, at Widnes.

He is doubtful but full-back Sam Reed could return for the first time since August following hamstring issues.

Jack Tinker, sent off in the FA Cup defeat at Shildon, is available again.
