Young gun Lewis Stephens scored the late winner as Glasshoughton Welfare ended a run of two consecutive defeats with the 3-2 win at Clipstone.

Glasshoughton had been pegged back twice but Stephens’ goal secured maximum points.

Recent signing Josh Whiteley and Jamie Simpson put Welfare ahead on separate occasions.

Adam Baskerville’s wonder goal rescued Armthorpe Welfare at FC Humber United in the 2-2 draw.

Armthorpe beat Humber 8-0 a month ago but they did not have it their own way this time.

Jonathan Wileman’s opener was cancelled out by Baskerville.

But Syzmon Czubik restored the lead and that looked to have won it until Baskerville’s overhead kick in the 87th minute.

Hallam secured their eighth consecutive victory with a comfortable 4-0 defeat of Rainworth Miners Welfare.

Chris Wood (2) and Chris Salt had the game sown up after just 12 minutes.

Josh Scully added the fourth late on.

Danny East scored in North Ferriby’s win over Worsbrough

North Ferriby have won seven out of seven in the league following the 6-1 thrashing of Worsbrough Bridge.

Ferriby were leading 5-0 at the break.

Danny East, Joel Shortland (2), Tom Corner (2) and am Elliot Wilson own goal secured the win for Ferriby.

A Levi Tarbotton own goal was a second half consolation for Worsbrough.

Nostell forward Joe Wood

Joe Wood’s goal counted for nothing as Nostell Miners Welfare lost 3-1 to Retford FC.
