Church had been hoping to bounce back from Saturday’s humbling at Bottesford Town move further from the relegation zone.
Their chances looked good when Luke Stewart put Steve Lenthall’s men ahead after just three minutes.
However, Barton responded quite quickly through Tom Waudby.
