Flynn scores four as Golcar mount incredible comeback

Golcar United 4-3 AFC Darwen

Golcar United striker Ash Flynn

Ash Flynn staged an almost one man show as his four goals led Golcar United to a staggering victory in a game they were losing 3-1 in after 32 minutes in front of almost 400 people.

Golcar seemed dead and buried after a nightmare first half which saw Nathan Bond and Clayton Gorman (2) score for Darwen.

Flynn reduced the deficit briefly but Darwen scored their third to take a commanding lead into the break.

A 57th minute penalty that Flynn fired home began the comeback.

The ex-Yorkshire Amateur and Emley striker then scored two quick-fire goals at the back-post from long throws in the 74th and 77th minutes to win it for promotion-chasing Golcar.
