Fox completes incredible comeback as new Albion Sports boss enjoys dream start

Toolstation NCEL Premier Division Round-Up (1)

Albion Sports striker Robbie Fox

Robbie Fox scored the winner ten minutes from time as Albion Sports came back from two goals down to win 3-2 at Silsden to hand new boss Rizwan Mohammed a dream start.

Mohammed replaced Ishy Hussain and Danny Brown two days ago and after 39 minutes, his side were staring down the barrel of a tenth consecutive defeat.

Mohammed Qasim had put Danny Forrest’s Silsden in full control with a double.

A penalty which Danny Facey converted on the stroke of half-time provided Albion with a lifeline.

Mohammed signed five new players prior to the fixture and one of those, Omar Habeeb, a half-time substitute, headed home the equaliser with 20 minutes left.

Fox then made himself the hero.

Garforth Town manager Paul Marshall

Paul Marshall almost got his wanted crowd of 250 but Garforth Town’s long unbeaten run to an end in a 1-0 defeat to AFC Mansfield.

Two hundred and forty-two people turned out to watch the promotion-chasing side

Lynton Karkach’s first half goal was Garforth’s undoing.
