Maltby Main have signed prolific striker Damian Reeves who was recently with Belper Town.
Reeves was the top striker in Non League Football a few years ago when he was scoring for fun for Altrincham so in some respect it is a coup for Louis Axcell’s side.
He is best known in this area for his time with Farsley Celtic who he helped win an unprecedented promotion to the top flight of Non League Football in 2007.
Barnsley fans will remember him for scoring the winner for Altrincham in the famous FA Cup First Round clash in 2015 during Lee Johnson’s tenure at Oakwell.
Reeves is primed to make his Maltby debut when they host Penistone Church on Tuesday.
Top lad, Damo. Must be pushing 40 but i bet he’ll still score goals at that level
