Glasshoughton Welfare double goal-scorer Sam Nelson

Sam Nelson’s double in a first half blitz in 3-0 win at struggling Swallownest ended Glasshoughton Welfare’s three-match losing streak.

Nelson and Fidel Mhlolo wrapped the points up inside a 15 minute period towards the end of the first half.

Outfield player Tom Carr, the Rugby Union player who was starting his third game between the sticks, saved a late penalty from Swallownest striker Alex Lill to preserve his clean sheet.

Tyla Bell scored twice for Rossington in the first half

Rossington Main kick-started their play-offs push again with the 3-0 win over Clipstone.
