Brighouse Town midfielder Danny Racchi has retired from playing.
Racchi has made the decision due to “ongoing injuries” and to focus on his family and his new business.
Brighouse’s statement said: “Danny has been absolutely top drawer since he’s been in the club.
“He’s bought into how we do things, the ethos and mentality of the club.
“A player of Danny’s quality and experience has been missed and it’s a shame we didn’t get the absolute best out of danny due to injury, which in the end has cut his time with Brighouse Town short.
“From all the players and staff and everyone associated with Brighouse Town we would like to thank Danny and wish him and his family the very best.”
