Farsley Celtic striker James Hanson has joined league rivals Boston United on loan for the rest of the season.

The Bradford City legend has been with Farsley since returning to the part-time game in the summer.

He joins a Boston team who are fighting for a spot in the play-offs under caretaker boss Paul Green, the ex-Doncaster Rovers and Leeds United midfielder, who has taken charge since Craig Elliott parted company with them.

Hanson is the third player to leave Farsley this week behind Joel Byrom and Jordan Richards.

Farsley were meant to visit Boston tomorrow but that is off as their would-be opponents are in FA Trophy action.

Farsley visit Campion next Wednesday in the West Riding County Cup before hosting Hereford on January 22nd.
