New Hemsworth goalkeeper Harrison Davison-Hale

Great escape hopefuls Hemsworth Miners Welfare have a new goalkeeper.

Tadcaster Albion stopper Harrison Davison Hale has joined the Wells with 11 huge games to go.

Davison Hale was Taddy’s number one goalkeeper at the beginning of the campaign but he has since been displaced.

Hemsworth are two points adrift of third-bottom Albion Sports who have three games-in-hand.

The Wells have three very tricky games coming up with Staveley Miners Welfare on Saturday and then leaders Grimsby Borough next Wednesday and Eccleshill United on the Saturday.

The goalkeeper position has been a source of frustration for Shane Kelsey as they have had numerous stoppers throughout the campaign, including Dan Morton, Jake Womack, Jake Teale, Hagie Damba and Jake Greatorex.

Even outfield players Steven Jeff and Jay Davis have had stints in between the sticks.
