Nostell Miners Welfare striker Danny Edwards has signed for Knaresborough Town, ending his long association with the Division One club.
Young Edwards, one of Ian Walker’s long-standing under 21s players, broke into the Nostell first team during the Jason Dodsworth and Simon Houghton era.
He burst onto the scene in 2019 with a load of goals but injuries have tormented him for a long period.
He has been back in the Nostell side this season
His arrival at Knaresborough is timed ahead of the clash with promotion-chasing Eccleshill United at Manse Lane.
