Former Emley AFC manager Darren Hepworth has returned to management.
Hepworth has taken over as first team manager of his namesake club Hepworth United.
It marks his first return to the dugout as a number one since his brief stint with Huddersfield YMCA in 2017.
He hasn’t been involved in the game since assisting Marlon Adams at Emley back in 2018.
Very popular Hepworth is of course best known for his seven years as Emley manager which contained so many memorable moments.
Some involved his trademark sprints down touchlines to celebrate goals – the kind of razzmatazz he is bound to bring to Hepworth.
