Bradford (Park Avenue) pulled further clear of basement side Farsley Celtic after clinching a massive 1-0 win at Horsfall Stadium on Wednesday night.
Lewis Knight was the hero with a strike four minutes into the second half.
Farsley were left to rue several missed chances.
Avenue have also been boosted by the news that Dylan Mottley-Henry has signed a new contract which will run until the end of next season.
Mark Bower said: “Very pleased, we’re looking forward to next year and managing to secure a few players early with Dylan being the most recent.
“He’s come in to the club with a fantastic attitude and he’s really one to admire in a match. He’s enjoying his football and wants to play more regularly.
“Dylan can definitely be a real asset for us with his pace, strength and enthusiasm and we’re glad to have him tied down for a longer term.”
