NCEL bound Beverley launch search for new manager

NCEL bound Beverley Town have launched their search for a new manager following the departure of Mike Thompson.

Thompson is the new manager of NPL Division One East side Bridlington Town and he leaves with the club’s blessing.

Thompson, who led the club to the 2021 HPL title, has left Beverley in an exciting position.

The first team has just finished second in the HPL with a very strong side and they are well-prepared for the next step.

Just an hour after Thompson’s appointment at Bridlington was confirmed, the FA announced that their application for promotion to Step 6 has been successful.

Now their elevation is rubber-stamped, four years of hard work and investment in their Norwood home have paid off.

Aside from the first team, Beverley have 31 teams, ranging from under 7s to men and ladies adults teams.
