A host of new clubs are set to join Division Two of the Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League next season, pending a vote at the AGM.

Dinnington Town Reserves, Evo Soccer, Sheffield City Reserves, Tusaale and Wombwell Town Reserves all passed the interview stage on Tuesday night.

Those clubs will make a presentation to existing clubs at the league AGM in June before a vote.

Central Midlands League outfit Askern Miners were interviewed, but a decision on them has been deferred until more information and clarity on their controversial proposed merger with FC Humber United is received following anticipated meetings between the two clubs this week.

If Askern are to join Division Two, they will be fielding the players who played for them in the Central Midlands League.

Hemsworth Town will be interviewed in the coming weeks as they were unavailable on Tuesday night.

Dinnington, Sheffield and Wombwell need no introductions, but Evo and Tusaale are both Sheffield-based.

Tusaale are based at the Fir Vale Centre.

Evo play at Warminster Road.
