Injury forces change to All Stars squad

Wombwell Main winger Gadhafi Kiwanuka

An injury has forced Terry Simon to re-jig his EV2 Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League Representative side.

Wombwell Main young starlet Owen Sykes has unfortunately failed a fitness test and withdrawn from the Friday night Brian Bradley Cup battle against Wakefield AFC.

Sykes, 18, sustained ankle ligament damage in Wombwell’s victory at Hepworth in April.

He has been replaced by Gadhafi Kiwanuka, the winger who joined Wombwell in the summer and is a menace to opposition defences each week.

The mouth-watering Final is being held at Wombwell Town (kick off 7pm).

Admission is £2 and all proceeds will go to the league’s men’s mental health partner #ItsOkToTalk which raises money for the Samaritans and Barnsley-based community group Project 14.
