  1. Josh is an amazing player. He puts in 100% every match. He never stops trying. He deserves to win this ❤️

  2. Laurence has been a revelation on and off the pitch for Brighouse Town, one that other junior and senior players look up to in terms of professionalism, standards and all round footballing ability. Deserves his Flowers

  3. Since joining Ferriby Josh has shown an aptitude for hard work plus has proved a regular goal scorer and has helped to gain the clubs promotion.

  4. Burgess was outstanding on and off the pitch.

My moment that makes him player of the year was at the end of the Cup Final when the team were understandably devastated- he rallied them to come and applaud with the fans – always knows how to work both the crowd and the opposition.

  5. Josh’s work rate at North Ferriby is second to none.
He’s chasing balls down and frustrating defences with the same pace and commitment in the 90th minute of the game, as he does in the 1st minute.
A fantastic goal scorer and great team player.

  6. James Burgess had a great season and scored aome quality goals when it really mattered what a player and what aseason.

  7. A true veteran of local Non-league, and as competitive as ever at the twilight of his playing career, and can still chip in with a few goal from centre back!
Could put a few young ‘uns to shame!
    Well played Brett.
