Record-breaking Ash Flynn is heading back to Yorkshire Amateur after committing himself to the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.

Flynn is leaving promoted Golcar United to return to Bracken Edge after nearly two years.

The striker played for the Ammers from 2017 until late 2020 and he helped the club win two promotions.

It is a coup for the Ammers as Flynn, who has arguably been the best Step 5 and 6 striker in this region in the past ten years, remains lethal in front of goal.

He joins an array of names who have committed to playing for the Ammers under Nathan Cartman next season.

Leon Osborne, Amir Berchil, Charlie Jebson-King and Emmanuel Amissah have committed in recent days.
