An old face is the first new signing at Bradford (Park Avenue) this summer.

Midfielder Jamie Spencer is returning to Horsfall Stadium from relegated Guiseley.

Spencer played for Avenue between 2016 and 2019.

Mark Bower said: “I’m really pleased to have secured the signing of Jamie.

“We know he’s a talented player from his first spell with us but he’s now become more mature and experienced and I expect him to be one of our leaders both on the pitch and in our dressing room.

“He is a player with the ability to play in a higher league and we have challenged him to realise that potential by doing consistently well for us.”

Spencer joins a squad which contains Mitch Lund, Dylan Mottley-Henry, Harrison Hopper and Sam Fielding so far.

Mark Ross, Nicky Clee, Jordan Windass, Akeem Hinds, Luke Rawson and Brad Dockerty have left.
