Star player leaves Yorkshire Amateur

NPL Division One East

Yorkshire Amateur star Casey Stewart

One of Yorkshire Amateur’s star players has exited the club.

Former Tadcaster Albion and Selby Town attacker Casey Stewart has left Bracken Edge to seek an “opportunity up the pyramid”.

It is a blow, but it is not a surprise as Stewart is a quality player who should be playing in at least the Northern Premier League.

The deadline for applications for the first team coach role at the Ammers has passed.

Interviews will take place next week and the Ammers and Nathan Cartman hope to make an appointment by the end of the week.
