Two of last season’s players have left NPL Premier Division-bound Guiseley.
The exits of captain Hamza Bencherif and former Parkgate Lebrun Mbeka have been confirmed.
Mbeka has joined Boston United where he links up with former Guiseley manager Paul Cox.
Lions chief Danny Ellis told Non League Yorkshire: “I spoke to Hamza and we’re gutted really because he is a good leader and character.
“I have a lot of respect for him.
“He has gone to Worksop because of the travel commitments, I think he lives down there.
“Lebrun has signed for Boston.
“They’re two good characters so it is gutting, but I can’t sulk and moan.
“We have to move on and get players over-the-line.
