John Deacey has brought back a player from the past at Tadcaster Albion.

Pete Davidson will be roaming the midfield again for Tadcaster where he also reunites with Deacey who he worked with at Farsley Celtic and Scarborough Athletic.

Davidson was ever-present for Tadcaster during the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons for Tadcaster.

His return to Tadcaster allows him to stay close to striker Brett Agnew who managed him for two years at Bridlington Town until the end of last season.

Agnew was announced as Taddy’s first summer signing.

He has since been followed by Jack Johnson, Cody Cromack, Josh Grant and now Davidson.

All five signings heavily strengthen Tadcaster’s and more could be on the horizon.
