Silsden midfielder Joe Mitchell has joined Yorkshire Amateur

The former captain of Silsden has been handed a deal at Yorkshire Amateur.

Joe Mitchell has impressed in training so Nathan Cartman has made him a permanent member of his squad.

The midfielder has been a key figure at Silsden for many years – bar his two stint spell at Clitheroe.

Mitchell actually began his Non League career with Farsley Celtic at the turn of the 2010s before he linked up with Silsden.

He is the third player to commit to the Ammers in the past few days.

Eccleshill United star Talent Ndlovu has joined.

Albion Sports striker Mohammed Qasim is the other signing.
