Ex-Ponte goalkeeper signs for Tadcaster

Goalkeeper Ryan Musselwhite keeps Ponte’s dreams alive during the goal-less draw with FC Halifax Town back in October 2021

A former Pontefract Collieries goalkeeper has signed for John Deacey’s Tadcaster Albion.

Ryan Musselwhite, son of former former Hull City stopper Paul, is set to be between the sticks for Taddy this season.

Musselwhite is best known for his time with Pontefract as in his first spell he helped the club win the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title.

Although his second spell was short, he will be remembered for his man of the match display in the unforgettable draw with FC Halifax Town last season.

He has also played for Rossington Main, Belper Town and Sheffield FC.

Tad are set to begin their pre-season friendlies schedule this weekend when Redcar Athletic visit.
