Frickley’s squad takes shape

New Frickley Athletic wing wizard Richard Collier

Wayne Benn’s brand new Frickley Athletic team is beginning to take shape.

Benn is starting from ground zero as no players from last season’s relegated side are staying.

Former Hemsworth Miners Welfare and Nostell Miners Welfare wing wizard Richard Collier is the headline signing so far.

He will be excite fans at Westfield Lane this season. 

It is also a welcome return to the Non League game for Collier as he has been playing in Step 7 for Middleton in the last couple of years.

Matty Hughes is a familiar name to many as the winger has previously turned out for Hemsworth, Nostell and Armthorpe Welfare.

Sam Cullingworth and midfielder Kofi Appiah also sign for the Blues who kick off the season at Maltby Main on the 30th July.
