Ste Crawford has chosen Thackley as his new club after leaving Yorkshire Amateur last week following the dramatic takeover by a group of local people.
Crawford had been with the Ammers for several seasons, helping them climb to unchartered heights.
Crawford joins Tom Greaves on the marquee signings list at Thackley this summer.
Thackley host Glasshoughton Welfare this weekend ahead of the season opener against Golcar United on July 30th.
