Ossett United have finally landed one of the their summer transfer targets.
Attacker Junayd Cassius-Gill has signed following his impressive performance against Barnsley on Tuesday night.
He is previously a Pontefract Collieries, Tadcaster Albion and Yorkshire Amateur player.
Jas Colliver said: “Junayd had been named as a trialist but to be honest that’s only so no one else pinched him, we never offered him a trial as he is someone who has caught our eye over the years.
“He is a talented lad who plays with confidence and I’m sure will entertain the supporters as well as frustrating the life out of us from time to time.
“He was invited to trial at Leicester City a few years ago where he scored on his debut but unfortunately picked up a foot injury which resulted in the trial period finishing.
“The lads have took to him and he’s certainly had an impact on the games so far.”
