Gibril Bojang scored a seven-minute hat-trick Horbury Town’s incredible start to life at Step 6 continued on an historic night which saw them play under their new floodlights for the first time.

Horbury trailed twice in the first half to Parkgate but Darren Barnes’ men ended up cantering to a 6-2 victory.

Nathan Taylor and Steve Hopewell netted for Parkgate.

Ex-Liversedge attacker Bojang’s treble and goals from Kieran Ceesay, James Smith and James Cusworth won it for Horbury.

Campion striker Marcus Day

Campion inflicted a 6-0 defeat on Nostell Miners Welfare who endured a nightmare night.

Marcus Day (2), Paddy Sykes, Aidan Day, Nicky Boshell and a Brett Smith own goal led Nostell to victory.

In-form Harrogate Railway young gun Ollie Norman

Armthorpe Welfare lost goalkeeper Joe Bacon to a red card in the tenth minute of the 3-0 loss to Harrogate Railway.

Ollie Norman, Kieran Greenway and Albert Ibrahimi scored for Railway.
