Scott Briggs has been busy on the recruitment front at Penistone Church Reserves with two impressive signings.
He has won the race to sign highly-rated centre-back Harry Hurst who has attracted interest this summer after leaving Ecclesfield Red Rose 1915.
Hurst was one of the best defenders in the league last season and he played for Terry Simon’s All Stars in the end of season Representative game.
He has massive potential and he could be in the eye-line of the first team management over the course of the campaign if performances are good.
