The corner has definitely been turned at Athersley Rec as they romped to a 3-0 victory at local rivals Worsbrough Bridge to continue their upturn in form.
The victory meant Jimmy Whitehead’s rejuvenated Rec completed the double on Worsbrough.
Second half goals from Jack Bennett, Cole Patrick and Kyle Batchelor secured victory for Athersley.
Athersley are unbeaten in four games and they sit 12th in the table.
