An ex-Ossett Town captain has returned to Ingfield for the new Grant Black era.
Alex Peterson joins from Sheffield FC to play for Ossett after several years away.
The striker, who has also played for Black at Belper Town, was part of the new Ossett boss’ fairytale first spell in charge.
He was skipper as Ossett stunned many by reaching the NPL Division One North play-off final in 2017.
Black said: “It’s fantastic to get Alex in, he’s obviously a player we’ve worked with before and he has been successful wherever he has been with us.
“He scores goals,works hard and is a team player who knows our expectations and he never fails keeping them and getting others to those levels.”
