Simon Houghton has appointed an ex-NCEL manager as his number two at Goole AFC.
Leon Sewell has stepped from managing Hall Road Rangers in the Humber Premier League to take up the role.
The announcement ends Sewell’s three-year tenure at Haworth Park.
Sewell is also known for his stints at Selby Town and Westella.
He is well-regarded on the NCEL circuit due to his successes on limited resources at his various clubs.
Former Pontefract Collieries and Shaw Lane Aquaforce manager Houghton was named as Mike Carmody’s successor last week.
