Selby Town star Harry Clapham

Two very early goals helped Selby Town record their first victory in weeks and Ryan Cooper’s first since becoming their permanent manager.

An own goal from Luke Wheeldon and Harry Clapham’s strike in the opening eight minutes was all they needed to win 2-1 at Beverley Town.

Reece Moody’s strike for Beverley made it nervy for the rest of the game but Selby defended well and held on.
