Stocksbridge Park Steels sensationally climbed to third place after winning 3-1 at Hebburn Town.

Such heights were probably unthinkable at the start of the season but here the Steels are following an incredible run of form.

Goals from Ify Ofoegbu and Charlie Oglesby plus an own goal secured Ian Richards’ side their latest win.

Brighouse Town striker Laurence Sorhaindo

Brighouse Town won in the North East as well as they eased to a 4-1 victory at Consett.

Brighouse were three goals to the good by half-time as Laurence Sorhaindo (2) and Jack Boyle scored.

Callum Charlton added the fourth in the last minute.

Tadcaster Albion forward Luke Hinsley

Luke Hinsley’s goal earned Tadcaster Albion a 1-1 draw against Dunston.

Bridlington Town and Grantham Town at Queensgate finished goal-less.

Ossett United were cruelly denied a brilliant win over Worksop Town as Craig Parry’s title contenders struck twice in the final eight minutes to win 2-1.

Brad Grayson appeared to have scored the winner until the fight-back.

Pontefract Collieries were also beaten by an injury-time goal as Long Eaton scored at the death to win 2-1.

Adam Priestley scored for Ponte who had Scott Brown sent off in the first half.
