Eccleshill United’s FA Vase adventure continues after a dramatic 4-2 penalty shootout victory at Longridge Town.
The win puts Eccleshill into the last 32 and furthest than they have gone in years in the prestigious competition.
Normal time had produced a 1-1 draw in which Eccleshill had come so close to winning.
Matty Sykes had struck gold from the edge of the penalty area in the 72nd minute and it was almost enough.
However, with eight minutes to go, Jack Arrowsmith levelled the scores to take it to penalties.
