There has been player movement at Pontefract Collieries this week.
On the incoming front, young midfielder George Thewlis was joined after a brief spell with Marske United.
Thewlis began the campaign at Ossett United after his time with Bradford City came to an end.
The departure of Jake Picton has been announced.
His exit brings an end to his second spell with the Colls.
“Unfortunately in football things don’t work out the way everyone had hoped,” Craig Rouse said.
“Picko is a great lad and someone who I have a lot of respect for. A parting of the ways was the right decision for everyone and we wish him the best of the luck for the future.
“He’ll be welcome down to the club at any point and his contribution to the club since our promotion to the NPL will always be remembered.”
