Armthorpe Welfare have brought back a goal-scoring winger to add more firepower to their in-form squad.

Matty Hughes has re-signed for Armthorpe after leaving Premier Division side Frickley Athletic.

Hughes spent the first half of last season with Armthorpe, scoring six times, before signing for Nostell Miners Welfare.

He arrives at a time when Armthorpe are enjoying a superb run of form.

Lee Morris and Rhys Meynell have done an unbelievable job of guiding them to eight wins out of their last ten league games.

The play-offs are six points away but they are safely ensconced in the top ten by some way.
