Tadcaster make managerial changes

NPL Division One East

Craig Ogilvie and Neil Sibson have parted company with Tadcaster Albion

Tadcaster Albion have announced the exit of their joint managers Craig Ogilvie and Neil Sibson.

Their departures were announced in the wake of the 2-0 defeat at Bridlington Town.

Tadcaster are without a league win this season and the pair have been unable to halt the slide they inherited in September.

A statement said: “Craig Ogilvie and Neil Sibson have left the club with immediate effect.

“Craig and Neil joined Tadcaster in mid-September after a poor start to the new season which had seen just four draws in our first eleven competitive games.

“We would like to place on record our appreciation of their considerable efforts to rebuild the playing squad but with the club firmly languishing at the bottom of the Northern Premier League East, and our results as worrying as they were back in September, the Board felt that steps to improve matters should be introduced now at the half way stage of the season.”

First team coach Andy Monkhouse is the club’s new manager.
