Premier Division
Ryan Wingrove’s hat-trick helped Wombwell Main propel themselves to second place in the EV2 Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League Premier Division.
Wombwell stormed to a 5-0 victory at Stocksbridge Park Steels, with Wingrove, Jamie Knox and Bailey Cowsell netting.
Wombwell Town moved into fifth place following their 4-1 beating of lowly Sheffield Town.
Connor Peace struck twice and Luke Micklethwaite and Eddie Agnew scored as well.
Houghton Main won 2-0 at Ecclesfield Red Rose 1915.
Jordan Good and Isaac Barnard scored.
Sam Green’s double and Luke McCarthy’s strike edged Swinton Athletic to their 3-2 victory over Oughtibridge War Memorial.
Handsworth Reserves were 2-0 victors at South Kirkby Colliery.
