Stocksbridge keep pressure on second placed Stockton

High-flying Stocksbridge Park Steels maintained the pressure on second placed Stockton Town thanks to the impressive 3-0 win at North Shields.

Ify Ofoegbu, Lewis Macaskill and Luke Rawson scored for the Steels.

Mohammed Qasim was Brighouse Town’s goal-scorer in the 1-1 draw with Lincoln United.

Bridlington Town lost 2-0 at Hebburn Town, 24 hours before the departure of manager Mike Thompson.

Pontefract Collieries lost 2-0 to champions-elect Worksop Town. One blow for Ponte was the late sending off of goalkeeper Kyle Trenery.

Premier Division 

Guiseley were beaten 3-2 by title-chasing Hyde United.

Callum Chippendale and Adam Haw were on target for Guiseley.

Brad Fewster scored in Whitby Town’s 1-1 draw with Nantwich Town.

Liversedge lost 1-0 at Warrington Rylands.
