The son of Barnsley legend Danny Wilson has taken over as joint manager of Ecclesfield Red Rose 1915.
Laurie Wilson has taken the helm alongside Matthew Young following a very difficult time for the club.
The pair have replaced Chris Rix who ensured Red Rose started the season.
Wilson has been with Ecclesfield for over 18 months after arriving as a player under Jon Wragg.
He enjoyed an illustrious Non League career, playing for the likes of Harrogate Town and Alfreton Town.
Young has started eight times as a player this season and was involved in their promotion year in 2019.
Ecclesfield host Dodworth on Saturday.
