“Magical” Superheroes project gets Lottery funding

The South Yorkshire Superheroes have received major backing from the National Lottery Awards for All grants scheme for a project described as “magical”. Two footballers from Pontefract Collieries and Nostell Miners Welfare will play for the Mencap GB team at the European Championships in Geneva later this week. NLY Community Sport held its second ever Multi-Sports Fun Day for children with disabilities and learning difficulties on Sunday afternoon and it was another success. Disability Football for Juniors in Barnsley

NLY Community Sport is delighted to announce that we are launching Disability Football sessions in Barnsley for children (aged six to 16) with disabilities and learning difficulties. The training sessions will be held every Monday, starting on 19th February, at Springwell Learning Community (S71 2AY), starting at 5pm and finishing at 6pm. Each session will  read more→
