Ossett Albion boss Richard Tracey guided his team to a 1-0 win at Cammell Laird

Ossett Albion’s faint survival hopes were given a huge shot in the arm as Richard Tracey’s men clinched a dramatic 1-0 win at Division One North crisis club Cammell Laird.
Scott Turner was the hero as his 81st minute turn and finish secured the points and moved Albion five points behind Wakefield.
Harrogate Railway reached the 40 points mark with stalwart Dan Thirkell’s early goal enough to earn them a 1-0 success at Prescot Cables.
Thirkell powerfully headed Colin Hunter’s corner home and Railway survived a bit of pressure from Prescot towards the end before the final whistle was blown.
Wakefield FC were cruelly denied the opportunity to move out of the drop zone as Northwich Victoria’s Wayne Burnett struck in the last minute to rescue a 1-1 draw.
Rob Bordman, sent off in midweek, again showed his knack for scoring a sublime goal with a spectacular 35-yard lob which was enough until the dying embers.
Nearly 500 people turned out to see Ossett Town lose 2-1 to second-placed Darlington 1883 at Ingfield.
Two quick-fire strikes on the half hour mark put Darlington into a great position and they held on despite Chris Wood’s goal for Ossett.
The class of 92’ takeover of Salford City began with a 3-2 win at Farsley AFC – a result that massively dents Neil Parsley’s side’s play-offs hopes.
Gibraltar International Adam Priestley put Farsley ahead after three minutes before Salford equalised.
Priestley then scored a own goal which fired Salford in front and Jamie Rother soon increased the visitors’ lead.
Aiden Savory’s 72nd strike gave Farsley hope, but Salford weren’t to be denied all three points.
Scarborough Athletic lost 3-0 at Division One South leaders Halesowen Town and Goole were beaten 1-0 at home by Sutton Coldfield.
Struggling Frickley Athletic were defeated 2-0 by AFC Fylde in the Premier Division.
