Nick Black’s goal earned Garforth Town a 1-0 win at Athersley Recreation

Garforth Town’s recent upturn in form continued as head coach Graham Nicholas came back to haunt his old club Athersley Recreation as his side celebrated a 1-0 Premier Division victory.
Nick Black’s first half goal secured Garforth their fourth league win in six games.
Tadcaster Albion still reign at the top of the division after an impressive 4-0 win at Bridlington Town. Rikki Paylor’s own goal set the scene before Carl Stewart, Calum Ward and Danny Critchlow added the gloss.
Barton Town Old Boys are still second after winning 6-0 at Glasshoughton Welfare.
Ryan Cooper (2), Ashley Lattimore, Gareth Barlow, Scott Phillips and Henry Gill were on the score-sheet.
Two second half goals gave Brighouse Town a 2-0 win at Nostell Miners Welfare.
Tom Matthews and Jason Price were the goal-scorers.
Pickering Town responded to their drumming at Tadcaster by beating Parkgate 2-1.

A dramatic finish at Liversedge saw them beat Armthorpe Welfare 3-2.
Dave Thompson’s men were losing 2-1 with ten minutes to go until Billy Grogan and Eli Hey secured the points.
Thackley turned around a 1-0 half time deficit to win 3-1 at Staveley thanks to James Firth, Matt Mathers and Paddy McGuire.
After a dramatic last gasp equalising goal for Shaw Lane Aquaforce against Cleethorpes Town, Craig Elliott’s men were greeted by the news that Selby Town had beaten Bottesford 4-3 in Division One.
Jamie Wilstrop’s hat-trick and Nathan Kamara’s single goal had given Selby a comfortable lead before a late Bottesford rally made it a nervy ending for them.
Fortunately for Selby and Shaw Lane, Bottesford failed to score an equaliser.
Antony Leech’s last minute leveller secured AFC Emley a 1-1 draw with Worsbrough Bridge.
Former Manchester United youngster Colin Heath (2), Blaine Hobson and Jim Bradley secured Knaresborough Town a 4-0 win at hopeless Appleby Frodingham.
Elsewhere, Dinnington won 3-0 at Dronfield Town, Jermaine Springer’s goal earned Eccleshill United a 1-0 over Hemsworth Miners Welfare, Rossington drew 1-1 with Hall Road and Hallam won 1-0 at Yorkshire Amateur.
