Glasshoughton Welfare captain Jimmy Williams has joined Pontefract
Glasshoughton Welfare captain Jimmy Williams has crossed the divide and joined local rivals Pontefract Collieries.
Williams has arrived at Beechnut Lane with fellow local Mikey Dunn. Williams has been the captain of Glasshoughton for the past two seasons and has been a rock at the heart of their defence.
Dunn also experience of playing for Glasshoughton.
Pontefract’s squad is coming along very nicely. Jordan Turner, Josh Corbett, Liam Radford, Luke Jeffs, Regan Fish and Chris Wood have already pledged their futures to the club.
