Ossett Albion once again showed their newly-found mettle by holding title-chasing Farsley to a goal-less draw at Dimple Wells.

Albion, who have won two, drawn one and lost one of their last four games, stay fourth-bottom, but they are now a point ahead of Prescot Cables and Goole AFC.

The first half was a tight affair. Albion goalkeeper Jordan Bradshaw did save two separate efforts from Lewis Nightingale though.

Albion struck the woodwork twice in the second half. Jackson Hassanyeh hit the post before Nathan Woodward beat Graeme McKibbin with a thunderous blast, but not the crossbar.

Farsley almost won it near the end with Adam Clayton’s header, but Albion managed to clear it off-the-line.
