Scarborough Athletic are mourning the passing of chairman Dave Holland, who passed away hours before the goal-less draw with Ossett Town.
The football community has been stunned by the news about the long-time Seadogs chairman, who has been leading the club’s impending long-awaited return to Scarborough.
A statement from their website reads: “It is with a heavy heart that the board has to announce our Chairman David Holland passed away this afternoon.
“Please respect Wendy and the families privacy at this very difficult, further details will be released as and when.”
