Action from a Parkgate game earlier in the season

Chris Howard’s second half header earned Parkgate a 1-0 win at Liversedge, while also ensuring that destiny remains in their own hands.

Parkgate are now a point behind fourth-bottom Barton Town Old Boys with a game-in-hand.

Pickering Town strengthened their hold on second place with a 4-0 beating of Rainworth Miners Welfare. Ryan Blott, Lewis Taylor, Sam Denton and Joe Dunnett hit the target for the Pikes.

Bridlington Town, who beat Harrogate Railway 5-1 at Queensgate, could still finish second with a bit of luck.

Jake Day and Andy Norfolk grabbed braces alongside Alex Knaggs’ strike. Cameron Lyn scored for Railway.

Thackley were beaten 6-1 at home to leaders Cleethorpes Town who need 11 points out of a possible 21 to win the title.
