All eyes are on the NCEL tonight when two mouth-watering play-offs semi-finals take place in Grimsby and Emley.

Big crowds are expected at AFC Emley’s home clash with local rivals Penistone Church and Hallam’s trip to Grimsby Borough.

Emley’s battle with Penistone is a repeat of last season’s semi-final tie. Over 450 people watched Emley score a late winner then. More are expected to turn out this year.

Emley, who missed out on automatic promotion by the virtue of a few goals, are determined to finally claim a Premier Division place after years of trying.

It won’t be easy as Penistone have already beaten them once this season.

Hallam face a tricky test at Grimsby Borough, who have only lost once at home this season.

Ryan Hindley’s men can guarantee an all Yorkshire final if they win.
