Bridlington with the East Riding Senior Cup

Andy Norfolk scored twice as Bridlington Town mounted a second half comeback to win the East Riding Senior Cup for the third successive year.

The scores were 1-1 at half-time as Norfolk had cancelled out an early Hull goal. Norfolk pounced from close range after Joel Sutton’s attempt was parried.

Hull would once again take the lead again in the early part of the second half, but three goals in quick succession sealed glory for Brid.

Norfolk levelled the scores before Brett Agnew and Sutton wrapped things up at Haworth Park, the home of Toolstation NCEL Division One champions Hall Road Rangers.

Bridlington have the chance of completing the double in the NCEL League Cup final tie with Penistone Church at Bramall Lane next week.
